Meet Jazmin

founder of FLOAT

As a former dancer and hobby gymnast, I discovered pole dance in 2013 when I was 15 years old, and it was love at first try. What started as a new challenge soon took me to international and world competitions bringing home both silver and gold medals as well as a world champion title.

Those years of training, competing and discovering myself through a new form of movement taught me (and still do) far more than just technique. They shaped me into the teacher I am today and gave me a deeper understanding of how the body works & moves, as well as how to guide people safely and confidently through their own pole, dance and flexibility journeys.

I have been teaching pole for 10 years but I believe that being a good teacher also means to never stop learning. I find it important to continuously educate myself and stay up to date with current knowledge and training methods, so I can offer you a safe and high quality learning experience.

I created FLOAT with the hope of building a space that feels a little like a second home. Somewhere you can feel comfortable, confident and completely yourself, while connecting with people who share the same love for movement and creativity. I want FLOAT to be a place where you can let go of judgement and expectations, be present, move freely and simply enjoy the time you spend here. Whether you come to train with me, practice on your own or with friends, teach and share your knowledge with others, or simply make the space your own, you are always welcome here.

I hope this space will warm your heart the same way it warms mine.

love, Jaz
